Dear List Members

The FAKE seal of "Oniyahu", depicting a sailing ship, published by
Nahman Avigad and Benjamin Sass 1997 (WSS no. 84)

was sold last week at Christie's Auction in New York for $75,000 +
25% commission. ($93,750)

See it at:

The sale took place several days AFTER I told them that the seal is a fake !!
I even sent them the picture of another fake seal made by the same
faker but they ignored it.

This is for the second time they offered a fake Hebrew seal.
In the previous case they withdraw the item from the sale but this
time they preferred to sell it. This is a shame !

Sincerely
Robert
