Attached please find an invitation to the conferring of The 2014 
Percia Schimmel Award for
Distinguished Contribution to Archaeology in Eretz Israel and the 
Lands of the Bible
on Professor David Ussishkin at the Israel Museum.

My teacher mentor and friend Professor David Ussishkin is
Professor Emeritus of the Institute of Archaeology, 
Tel-Aviv  University and I  had the opportunity
to work with him as a staff member at the Megiddo excavations from 
1992 till 2004.
